- He is having more than +21 of experience in the field
- He graduated from the University of Pune and finished his DM in Gastroenterology from AIIMS, Delhi
- He won Vishisht Seva Medal (VSM) by President of India for meritorious service in Armed Forces.
- He has also extensively worked in IBD (ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease).
- He has led the organ donation program in the Armed Forces.
- He is a teacher and examiner in Medicine and Gastroenterology.
- He has served the Armed Forces with distinction for over thirty years before joining Amrita Hospital.
